Well, the good news: only one day on my diet and I've already lost a pound! Whooo!
And the bad news: I've already cheated. I was starving when I woke up (a sign that I probably didn't eat enough for dinner last night, even though I felt so full) but I was running late this morning and didn't have time to make breakfast. I had a morning meeting and my boss had breakfast sandwiches delivered and I just couldn't resist... I chowed down on a big, greasy bagel with cheese, sausage and egg. Technically the bagel was the only part that's not allowed in Phase 1, but I'm still disappointed I couldn't even make it two days without cheating. I definitely need to start planning ahead!
